Instruction at the intro, beginner, and intermediate levels of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in the classical Mysore tradition of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois. Certified by David Swenson to teach Primary Series since 2001. Studied yoga with David Swenson, Beryl Bender Birch, Manju Jois, David Williams, Danny Paradise, Nikki Doane and Eddie Modestino, Narayani, Doug Swenson, Frank Jude Boccio, Sri. Darma Mittra, David Oliver, Tim Miller, and others. Group or private classes available. I am also certified by YogaEd to teach yoga to children to grade 8, and have raised four of my own children. Additional current certification by the State of CT to teach health education; previously an A.C.E.-certified group fitness instructor (1989-2007), U.S.T.A. 3.5-4.0 competitor, and avid runner.
